Dock Builder in Polson, MT
We build and service aluminum docks at the south end of Flathead Lake. We are based in Somers at the north end, and we run the length of the lake through the season.
The South End
Polson water is different from the north end. More open in places, different wind, and the bays each behave their own way. Some lots are shallow a long way out, which changes how far the dock has to reach before you can tie up a boat.
We look at your spot first. Depth, how far the lake drops by August, where the wind comes from, and how you get down to the water.
What We Do Here
Custom aluminum docks, built for your shoreline and the boat you keep there.
Dock repair on frames, hardware and anchoring.
Fall removal and spring launching every season.
Permits on the South End
Lakeshore permitting varies depending on where you are and who has jurisdiction over that stretch of shoreline. We help you through the paperwork before anything gets built, so you are not finding out about a requirement halfway through.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you come all the way down to Polson?
Yes. We work the whole lake, north end to south.
My water is shallow a long way out. Can you still build?
Yes. We size the sections and the ramp to reach the depth you need.
Do you handle the lakeshore permit?
We help you through it. Requirements vary by stretch of shoreline, so it is worth sorting before the build.
Can you do fall removal and spring launch down here?
Yes, and most people book both at once so the year is handled.
